1. When You Can Return or Exchange

You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery if the item is eligible:

• Unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original resaleable condition
• Lace uncut and untouched (no bleaching, trimming, or altering the lace)
• Hair not cut, dyed, permed, heat-styled, or otherwise processed after delivery
• Returned with original packaging and tags when provided
• Clean and free of odors, adhesives, or heavy product buildup

We generally accept returns or exchanges for:

• Change of mind or wrong size / length / density preference (eligible unused items only)
• Wrong item shipped (style, color, length, or lace size does not match the order)
• Damaged or defective item on arrival
• Quality issue that we confirm after review

2. What Cannot Be Returned

• Wigs that have been worn, washed, cut, styled, bleached, or otherwise altered
• Customized or made-to-order products (including custom color or special processing called out on the product page)
• Clearance, final sale, or promotional items marked as non-returnable
• Items returned after the 30-day window without prior written approval from support
• Items returned without contacting us first and without a return authorization

3. How to Start a Return (Required Steps)

1. Contact us first within 30 days of delivery (within 48 hours if the item is damaged or incorrect). Email service@bangjazzhair.com or use our Contact Us page. Include your order number, reason for return, and photos if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
2. Wait for return instructions by email. Our team will confirm whether the item is eligible and send the approved return address and packing instructions.
3. Ship only to the address we email you. Do not mail the package back to any address printed on the original carton, invoice, or warehouse label unless that exact address appears in our return email.
4. Pack the item securely in original packaging when possible. Use a trackable carrier. Keep your tracking number and send it to us after you ship.
5. After we receive the package, we inspect it. If approved, we process your refund or exchange as described below.

4. Important: Return Shipping Address

Do not ship your return to the original sender / warehouse address on the package without contacting us first. Return locations can change and may differ from the address your order shipped from.

• Always open a return request with customer service before you mail anything.
• The official return address will be provided by email after your request is approved.
• Packages sent to the wrong address, sent without authorization, or sent before we reply may be delayed, refused, or lost. We are not responsible for returns mailed to an unauthorized address.

5. Return Window

• Standard returns / exchanges: request within 30 days of delivery.
• Damaged or incorrect items: contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos so we can help quickly.
• Once we approve the return, please ship the item back as soon as you can (ideally within 7 days of receiving the return address).

6. Who Pays Shipping

• Original outbound shipping: Non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged on arrival, or a confirmed quality issue).
• Return shipping (you send the item back):
  • If the return is a change of mind or preference on an eligible unused item, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
  • If the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged on arrival, or confirmed quality issue), Bangjazz Hair covers return shipping — we will tell you how in the return email (prepaid label or reimbursement after we receive tracking).
• We recommend a trackable service. We are not responsible for return packages lost in transit without valid tracking.

7. Restocking / Handling Fees

No restocking fee and no return handling fee on approved eligible returns within the 30-day window. That is what our “easy return” / free-return promise means: we do not deduct a restocking charge from your product refund when the return meets this policy.

Deductions may still apply if the returned item fails inspection (for example, worn lace, washed hair, missing pieces, or damage not reported as our shipping error). In that case we may refuse the return or refund only a partial amount after we explain the reason.

8. When You Receive Your Refund

1. We inspect the return after it arrives at the address we provided.
2. If approved, we initiate the refund to your original payment method within 2–3 business days of approval.
3. After we initiate it, the refund usually appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank, card issuer, PayPal, Shop Pay, or other processor.

You will get an email when the refund is approved or if we cannot accept the return. Original outbound shipping is refunded only when the return is due to our error, as stated above.

9. Exchanges

If you want an exchange instead of a refund, tell us when you open the request. After we receive and approve the returned item, we will ship the replacement. If the new item costs more, you pay the difference before we ship. If it costs less, we refund the difference under the same timeline as refunds.

10. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the item, packing slip, and packaging. Do not discard the packaging until we confirm next steps. We will arrange a replacement, return, or refund once we verify the issue — and we will cover return shipping when the problem is on our side.
